? about closing

we were told by lawyers, REA, and home owners that they want to close the first week of April.. Well THIS is the first week of april and we have not heard ANYTHING.... how much notice do they have to give us? like will we get a call on sat that they want to close tuesday? because welll my dh needs a weeks notice to work it out that he's off from work... just wondering if any one could offer some experience!

Re: ? about closing

tell your lawyer that if you don't get enough notice you will have to postpone what ever date you are given because you can't make it unless you know at least a week in advance. I'm sure it's not the lawyers fault since they have to coordinate everyone's schedule but at least he will realize you are one of the people he has to coordinate with & you are not available on short notice. good luck !
