Buying new for vacation?
Im going on my honeymoon in 2 weeks and this week spent way too much money on new bathing suits, skirts, sandals etc.
Does anyone else like to go on vacation with some new things? I mean I must have enough stuff since I did make through the last 33 summers clothed

Haha...shopping for a trip is almost as fun as going on the trip itself!! I got this from my mom...she shops selectively for months before a big trip, like for a particular type of coat for the weather where she'll be or good walking shoes. I do this now too - it gets you excited for vacation!

i bought new for my honeymoon, because i lost a lot of weight before the wedding and my old clothes didn't fit and because my honeymoon was before summer started so they were my new summer clothes that summer.

how exciting!! I never used to buy anything for trips before I turned 30, I think I didn't know that was 'a thing'. Just call me clueless!
Then I started noticing that whenever I travelled, people were lookin good!! 
I wont go overboard before a trip but i'll make sure I have at least 2 really nice outfits.
Congrats!!! Shop away!!!!

YES!! As a PP said... shopping for vacation is almost as fun as the vaca itself

Yes. I love to buy for vacation and I also love to buy while on vacation. There is nothing like being home and wearing something that that has a good memory attached of where you bought it.

I do...but I am not buying more then I would have normally bought for spring- just earlier then I would have
Couple of bathing suits, cover up, dressy shorts, maybe a dress

For my HM ...everything I took...I mean EVERYTHING had tags on it ---all brand new and I LOVED IT
IMO (esp after having 2 kids) you may never be able to do this/afford to live this way again....so do it!! and dont feel bad

If I'm going on vacation, I like to get a new clothes for it.
I try not to go nuts, but it's hard not to.
I was certainly pulling tags off a lot of stuff from my suitcase when I was on my last vacay.

I always get atleast a coupole of new things. We're going away in June and I don't want to get much beforehand, but I plan on doing some damage at the outlets while we're there!

Almost everything I take on vacation is new. I have always been this way. Much to my husband's dismay having 2 kids has not changed that either. Except now I buy new stuff for them too when we go on vacation. The cycle continues...
