I think we're buying a new house!
Same neighborhood, bigger house. Over 3000sq. feet, half an acre of land, on a private street that ends at a seminary with acres and acres of park land. If I tell you guys the asking price you'll kill me (it's outside of Philly). It's nothing like LI here
It's a fixer upper, but we did that with our current house and it came out fabulous! It's a ranch so we're thinking we might take off the roof and add a master bedroom/suite (that might just be me dreaming in la-la land)...
The house has been on the market for EONS so we're going to low-ball them. Wish us luck!!   Image Attachment(s):

I saw your basement pictures and that was gorgeous. I am sure a fixer upper will look brand new when you and DH get your hands on it.
