Shark Steam Mop Users
Is it really worth it? I have the shark cordless vaccum and am not that impressed with it. Does it work on both hardwood and laminate floors? Any streaks?

I have it and use it on my laminate floors. I see streaks but someone on here suggested that I should use bottled or filtered water instead of tap water and that should make it so it does not streak. I haven't tried this yet.
I do like the mop but I feel like it should be used with a cleaner too. My aunt will spray a cleaner on the floor and then use the mop over it because she felt the same way I do.

It does pick up a lot more gross stuff on the floors than regular cleaners. The steam definitely helps. I use it on laminate, tile and wood floors.

I use it on my tile and I love it. I haven't noticed streaks but I have light colored tiles. I like that the floor is dry right away too as opposed to using a traditional mop

I have it and use it on ceramic tile floor and yes, it picks up dirt but it leaves streaks and def doesnt clean as well as i thought it would... I may just use a cleaner with it but at that point, i'd rather have a good ol mop and bucket!

I have it and I love it on my wood floors and *like* it on my bathroom tile floor. I only like it in the bathroom and not love it because on white tile, you can see a line of dirt from pushing the mop forwards. I sweep like a maniac before I do the floors but there is always dust that it pushes into straight lines in the bathroom. I try to back the mop up over it and it never completely goes away.

I have one and love it. I use it on all types for floors.
It is made to be used with Distilled water so that is probably what is causing your streaks.
I also use a little white vinegar mixed in!
