Atlantic City Hotels
I've never been to AC, but I'll be attending a concert at the borgata this weekend. Can anyone recommed a safe budget hotel (under $200) that is situated near the borgata? TIA

Borgata is kind of on its own, with Harrah's and Trump Marina, so you'll have to take a cab or drive anywhere else. Anything on the strip is going to be pricy, but I'd try calling the hotels on the strip just to see what their "Casino" rate is for the weekend. Trump Marina is a dump. Harrah's is nice.

When we go to AC, we stay at a little B&B just outside AC in Ventnor City, NJ. It's a 10 min. drive from the casinos, and right on the boardwalk. Rooms are generally under $200 this time of year. The breakfast is so good!

The Sheraton near the convention center is really nice - it's a short walk to the Boardwalk. In the past I got great rates on Orbitz & Expedia.

Re: Atlantic City Hotels
For a cheaper hotel, I'd try the Chelsea-sort of a botique-ish sort of hotel.
WAY less $$$ than the casinos.

Re: Atlantic City Hotels
I'd check out the Sheraton...no casino, but clean, comfy beds, walking distance to the outlets and like a 3 minute cab ride to the Borgata.
