been slacking!!
So I have the LI Half marathon May 2 and I'm in so much trouble! I have not been the greatest about sticking to my training schedule. I really just wish I didn't have to get up so early for work and that I could get in a run before DH left for work when it was light out. Excuses, excuses, but it's just so hard to juggle it all! work, having a toddler, keeping up a house AND sticking to a training program....if that's ALL i had to to MAYBE I'd be better at it, but life does not work that way. I really, really want to feel good about myself and be in awesome shape. Anyone have any motivational words of wisdom for me?!

Re: been slacking!!
all you can do is make it a priority
once you do that- you will find the time
I work 7 days a week and for a while I was telling myself I didn't have the time- but I found it- you can too
I don't have a child- but there are joging strollers, gyms with childcare and you husband to watch your DC while you spend 1 hour working out!

Re: been slacking!!
when do you get home? Daylight savings time has made a HUGE difference! I'm lucky to be done with work at 3:30 and I would rush out to run from work and then go home, now I can get the kids, go home, change and still have time to get a nice run in.
just try to get 2-3 miles in on weekdays - you can do that! even on lunch.
Save the long runs for the weekends when you are not working and DH can watch DC...then work can't be an excuse!
you can train for a HM with only 3-4 days of training a week.
