IUI Success with 15 million?? -- UPDATE

We went through our second round of IUIs this weekend and my DH's numbers were much improved!!

For our first IUI last month we only got to do one day since by the time I went in for the IUI the egg had already passed. That combined with the very low count my DH had (3 million; 86% motility) definitely didn't make me feel great. Obviously it didn't work and we set out for another round this month.

I went in for a sono Thursday night since it was CD19 and I still hadn't gotten the smiley face. My Dr. told me that it would definitely be soon and to come in the morning of the first surge if I got the surge in the AM.

Got the surge Friday morning and my DH went straight in. His SA results were MUCH better!!!!! I think it was 15 million and 90% motility :) And since I came in the morning of we got to do back to back IUIs (Friday and Saturday) since the egg was still visible on Friday. It definitely makes me much more hopeful. Even if this round doesn't work, the numbers are so much better and gives me a lot of hope that maybe IUIs could work for us!!!!

Has anyone had any success with these numbers??

AF has officially arrived I guess it's on to Round 3. Maybe third times a charm??

Still trying to figure out when to step things up to either medicated IUIs (although my Dr didn't recommend this given our counts) or IVF. I find it so hard to decide what the best course of action is here.

I did 3 iuis
#1 DH had 41 mil and I had 3 good follies (BFN)

#2 DH had 22 mil and I had 2 good follies (BFN)

#3 DH and 14.6 mil and I had only 1 good follie and we got our BFP

So yes there is definitely a shot.

I was never monitored when I did my IUI..but we got our BFP on our first try and DH only had a count of 1.2 million.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I am definitely excited about these numbers!!
