Crasher with a ? for a friend
I hope you don't mind me crashing. Just looking for some insight for my friend.
She had her ER yesterday and they retrieved 13 eggs
she got a call yesterday that none of the eggs were mature
then this morning, she got another call that 2 of the eggs matured late last night and 3 more this morning. They fertilized those 5 and 1 was no good so they discarded it.
She is trying not to lose hope but her Dr did not sound very optomistic.
Does anyone have experience with this that you can share?
thanks

I seem to be in close to the same boat as your friend. I am still stimming after 13 days. My re wont do the ER until they have so many follies over 16mm. The fact some of her eggs did mature but were a little slower does sound promising.

she had 7 eggs over 20mm so you would have thought that they would be mature, no?
the doctor was very surprised that none were mature when first retrieved
