CD 3 Clomid start..
Today I went went to the RE for CD3 Bloodwork & sono.. he also started me today on 100mg of clomid.. This is my first time on clomid..Has anyone else started on 100mg? I've heard of people starting on 50mg first..Hmmm Maybe it's because I went from having a pretty "normal"31 day cycle to a 43!!! Well all I know is I better get some good follies this month or I will be having a long talk with my ovaries

Re: CD 3 Clomid start..
My colleague's RE started her on 100 mg and had IUIs. She got pregnant (with twins!) on the 2nd cycle.

I started at 50mg but you can DEF start at 100mg. I just wouldn't start at anything more than that. GL!!!!

Re: CD 3 Clomid start..
My RE started me on 100mg and I thought like you why as most start at 50mg. I also did an IUI. Well first time nada, second round he bumped it to 150mg, did IUI, got pregnant. The 100 and 150 dose both resulted in only two matured follies. My RE wanted to see at least 3 or 4 which is why he bumped it up the second round.

Re: CD 3 Clomid start..
I started at 100 mg this month, however, I was also doing it for the clomid challenge test to check my ovarian reserve so I was required to start with 100 mg. Don't know why. I have having alot of ovarian pain tho. My doc this morning said its normal. I just hope I dont have any cysts because ive had in the past
