Did DH go to your first RE appointment?
Just wondering if I should bring him. He's more than willing to come!

Yes!! My DH came and I was so happy he did! First of all, he remembered all the things the dr said that I forgot. He just has a much better head for those kinds of things and remembers everything that's said.
More importantly though, he was able to get an understanding of the situation and really feel involved. DH actually comes with me to every appointment he can make it too. It's actually not necessary for your DH to come to as many appts as mine does- but we travel a half hour to get to the RE, so if I go on a Saturday we do lunch after and spend the day out there!

No: he was working.
He came at a later appt... but it didn't make much sense to bring him. It was easier for me to go by myself without having to coordinate.

DH came with me the first time and then maybe once or twice after. It was helpful to give our histories.

No my DH couldn't because he was away for work but at the first appt they basically just talk to you, give you a quick exam and give you all your scripts for blood work and tests.

Mine did. I thought it helped because it can be overwhelming. Also, on the way out he made his appointment for the SA.

Yes and i recommend it also. He was able to hear everything the dr went over with me, and ask his own questions.
it helps immensely so later on when i'm going for certain procedures, he knows what its for

My DH came with me to the first appointment and then some others along the way. It is important for them to experience some of what we experience.

he has come to every single appointment with me... even if its blood and sono early monitoring... he always says that this is something we both are going through and if that means him waking up to come with me for blood and sono, then thats what he will do...  i love that man..
