Now that I got my smiley today
Do I still have to use the OPK to see if I still have my smiley tomorrow and the next day?
If I don't get the smiley, what does that mean? Can I assume that I have ovulated?

I wish I knew the answere because I have the same questions. I bought the  tests today to use this cycle and I am not sure what I am really doing.

You don't have to use it again, as soon as you see it, you are good to go and just make sure you BD like rabbits

You definitely don't have to check, but I still do because I am curious how long my LH surge lasts. The actual ovulation happens after the smiley goes away, because its the LH surge that triggers you to O, which can occur anwhere from 12-72 hours after you first get the smiley. Once the smiley goes away, though there is no point in checking. LH surge is over. Mine is usually positive about 36 hours.
To have a real confirmation on when you O though, you do need to temp.
