Those who have been to Vegas...
Did you bring a comfy pair of sneakers for walking the strip or will I be fine in flip flops and flat shoes?

i live in flips and flats so i was fine, but if you find them uncomfortable after awhile than bring back up kicks just in case

I love wearing flip flops and flats but after awhile of walking they hurt and I get blisters, so I will pack my sneakers for when we are exploring and save my cute flats for when we do shows or dinner.

i don't like wearing sneakers in general, so for lots of walking I wear either merrel sandals or I bought these other sandals that are really cushiony and made for that sort of thing. there is a store on park avenue that specializes in them called eneslow. they aren't very glamorous, but I prefer them to sneakers especially when it's hot b/c i like my feet open in the summer. I love flip flops as well but if you wear them when doing a lot of walking your feet/ankles will start to hurt, I think.

I agree - I would either bring both so you can alternate or just bring what you think would be most comfy.

i walked through all the parks at disney in flip flops, but when i went to Vegas it was a little cold for flip flops otherwise I would have worn them!

if you are able to wear flip flops all day in warmer weather you might be able to get away with it. you are walking a lot, but it can be stop and go.
i was just there 2 weeks ago and one day i wore pretty comfortable flats one day, but really needed my sneakers the next day!
only you know your feet, but it is a lot of walking!

Definitely sneakers. Everything looks so close, but it's not! Flip flops can be okay if you have had a good experience in walking a lot in them.

No, I nearly never wear sneakers for just walking around. I just wore shoes I normally wear that were appropriate for the season.

I brought several pairs of cute shoes, but I wore sneakers all day while we were walking...I couldn't imagine if I didn't...but we didn't really take cabs or the monorail...we walked the whole strip up and back...
If you're planning on walking the whole time, I'd bring the sneakers for that, then go back to your hotel and change into cute shoes for dinner/show, like you said...that's exactly what we did.
