Manic Monday QOTD
Hi ladies! So it's my first QOTD.
So I think whether you just started or have been trying for some time now, we can all agree that TTC can be stressful.
So how do you and DH unwind to help alleviate some of the stress?
My answer: DH and I love to run together--and run races. But with this cold winter, we haven't been getting out there and I'm really missing it. It's like our special time together.
Other than that, we love wining and dining or just cuddling on the couch with a good movie. The two of us have a tendency to let our jobs get the better of us and now with the added stress of TTC, building in relaxation time is an essential. We're actually going away this week for a quick Florida getaway. That should help, too!

DH doesn't stress over TTC; that seems to be my job. I deal with it by stalking LIF, cooking, hanging out with my friends and family, and spending lots of time with DH.

Yeah, my DH seems similar. He's always taken the "it'll happen when it's meant to approach," while I'm the crazy researcher. But lately I've realized that gets a little stressed, or rather upset, to see me stressed. Last night I was at a loss with mid-cycle spotting and still no positive OPK and he just looked me and said, "When you don't have the answers, that's when I get worried."

My DH doesn't really get stressed out easily so he's pretty relaxed and stuff. Me, on ther other hand, is SO STRESSED OUT about work and TTC. I usually cook, bake, cook and bake to relieve my stress! LOL.....I also like to run but during the cold season, I run on the treadmill. He usually does little things to surprise me to get mymind off TTC. He also likes to book mini get aways (weekend).

Re: Manic Monday QOTD
DH is pretty relaxed about EVERYTHING however, I have found he is a closet researcher and sometimes knows my cycles better than me. Last month he decided to "take charge" of the BD'ing schedule and we actually did get PG! Obviously it ended as a CP but I couldn't believe that I sit on LIF all the time and research yet, he got it figured out better.
Anyway, we relax from this whole TTC process by going away and just spending quiet weekends together.

DH doesn't stress, he is one of those people that 100% believes in only putting positive energy out into the word. But I stress, worry and I am negative enough for the both of us! Wine is a major stress reliever for me, and lately puzzles! Sounds crazy but I focus completely on them and find that nothing else creeps into my mind. I've been doing Disney princess and super hero ones and then using puzzle glue to preserve them. I'm hoping to be able to frame them and use them in a nursery!
At the rate ttc is taking I may just be able to use them as wallpaper!

Christina, I think that's cool! I can see how that can be stress relieving.
It's funny that we're all married to men who don't stress. I guess that's the nature of most men though.
