With receipt I don't think there is a time limit.
I am almost positive without you would get store credit at the current price.
If you bought it on a CC they should be able to look it up for you.

Even if it's seasonal stuff? I bought DD a snowsuit and a dress, tags still on, that I don't see myself using. I know I have the receipt somewhere too.
