Question about temping

Hi Ladies,
I'm not quite ready to join you yet but this will be my last month on BCP and I thought I'd start temping to get an idea of what my cycles are like. My normal cycles off the Pill are anywhere from 40-60 days long so I have no idea when I "O" and I'd like to before we start ttc.

Anyway, here's my potentially stupid question... I am a blanket hog and steal the covers away from DH so by the morning I'm wrapped up like a cocoon. I can't help it. But often when I wake up, I am drenched in sweat from being all wrapped up like that. I feel so hot! Does this mean that my temps will be off? Does it actually raise your body temperature to be all hot and sticky like that, or is your internal temp unrelated to how hot you feel on the "outside"?

the temping will help you see the ups and downs in your temps.

so while it might elevate your temperature- if you are doing every morning, it will not matter because your temp will still go down before O and then go up and stay up for your luteal phase...

does that make sense?

As long as you consistently sleep that way it won't make a difference.

if you are concerned about that you can temp vaginally. its supposed to be more accurate that way...
