femara and spotting

I just finished my 5 day prescription of femara. On the 6th day I had spotting to a very very light flow. I called the doc and he just said to come in on my sched day for u/s but have relations.....

now today was the appt and it was canceled due to weather. I was told relations for today too just in case.....

Do you think this month is out?? Can I have follies if I am spotting?!

Me and DH's timing is ALWAYS horrible for everything! Damn snow!

I go in tomorrow though

just wondering if anyone else has spotted on femara!

I am an CD 8 and started the Femara on CD 4. I go back to the Dr. Tomorrow. I should have finished AF on CD 6. Yesterday i noticed that i was spotting. It was a little heavier last nght but not AF like heavy. I just related it to the femara. Maybe it was helping the old blood come out? I don't necessarily think this means your out. that tomorrow is not too late for you.

i dont see why spotting would cancel out any follie growth. i would think you should def BD!!

is that the same as Clomid? I think maybe the spotting could be from the ovarie releasing the egg?

Ohh we are Bd'ing alright! I just skeeves me out with the spotting....

I did not spot on Femara, but don't think you would be out at this point. BD tonight and I wish you luck at your appointment. Let us know how it goes...

fig i would give na end result to the spotting in case anyone looks up this post....

All was fine I spotted for 1 day and when I went in for u/s I had 2 mature eggs I was not set back at all...fingers crossed now

How many mg of femara were you taking?

Just curious because I'm taking 2.5mg and hoping that will be enough to produce an egg or two!!

2.5 mg and I got 2 mature eggs
