Mayonaise sandwich....Anyone eat these as a kid ?
(or as an adult  ?)
Just had a flashback to eating mayonaise sandwiches as a kid and it actualy sounds good right now !

Looooved them as a kid.
To make myself feel better about my other fav sandwich, I convinced myself I was eating a special "BLT" when I made one.
But I would leave off the lettuce & tomato and only have Bacon and Mayo on white bread.
So freaking GOOD.

I wouldn't do mustard and ketchup together. 
But potato chips and ketchup are a good snack too!!!

Never mayo sandwiches, but I always loved (still do!) tomatoes, w/mayo, salt and pepper on white bread. Yummy!
Also...it sounds gross and REALLY fattening...butter and sugar sandwich. I can't even imagine eating that now!

My mom used to make us tomato sandwiches like that and the sugar and butter on while bread! I cant imagine eating that now!

I read posts like these and realize how deprived I was as a child. My parents were off the boat Italians and my mom was very health concious and never let us eat anything like this!
I didn't have a BLT until I was a teenager and got it out with friends.
I've never had a Mayo sandwhich..my mom didn't even buy mayo when I was little!!
I'm jealous!
