Anyone been to the Berkshires?
Just wondering; we've never been and have no info but it sounds so nice! when's the best time of year, where to stay, what to do, any other tips?...tia!

We have family up there, so I can't offer any recommendation on where to stay.
We've only visited in the Fall - it's beautiful to see all the foliage!! You can go apple picking, hiking, shopping at Tanglewood - also go to the Yankee Candle Co. Factory Store - WOW!

My parents have a timeshare on Jiminy Peak. Its a nice area...in the winter, all we do is ski! It seems there is a lot of outdoor stuff to do when it is warmer though. There are lots of cute little towns where you can walk around and shop too.

We stayed in a Timeshare across from Jiminy Peak last summer...it's nice if you are into hiking...lots of cute towns to walk through and we didn't make it there but Tanglewood has concerts in the summer.

I have been to Jimny Peak to ski and it is a great mountain and they have lots to do for young ones (I dont have kids but there were tons of kids there). I also heard that in the summer they have lots to do there too and it is very family oriented!
