As horrible as this sounds, my friend is in the same situation and I wish they would just call the whole thing off bc they are so terrible together, it's a divorce in the making! It's sad that they let it go so far.

for your friend, I'm sure she'll be better off in the long run

ETA: I would just support her, don't offer any advice just tell her you're there for her if she needs to vent or needs a shoulder. Don't bash him either bc they might get back together.

I personally wouldn't make any comments about not liking them together or anything like that. Just be supportive, a friendly face and keep any personal feelings to yourself. If they decide later on that they are going to try to make it work, you don't want to be the friend that never liked them together.
