Can we talk about bullmastiff?

Does anyone have such breed?

How do they do with young Kids?

How do they do with other smaller dogs already in the house?

I am talking about a puppy to adulthood.

TIA

Re: Can we talk about bullmastiff?

a friend of mine had one and it was great w/their 4 kids!
they now have a napolean mastiff (HUGE-like a horse!!!LOL!!) and he is also great with their kids.....

they had the bull mastiff first then got the Nap. mastiff and they were fine together.....(bull mastiff passed away within this yr)

these dogs, from what i have heard, are known for pinning, ie: pinning people down..but i have never experienced this from them or any other mastiffs i have been around

they are big dogs and i love them! i wanted one and will eventually get one...but we got english bullies instead right now which i adore!Chat Icon

I don't know a whole lot about them, but I have come across a few (including the one the people we bought our house from had) nd they have always been SO sweet and gentle and loving.

My Aunt has had many dogs, and her mastiff is her favorite. She is so amazing, my cousin used to sleep on her when he was little! She is the most obedient and lovable dog I've ever met!
