HSG at NSUH with GHI
So GHI covered the medical portion of the HSG, but since it was an outpatient procedure at the hospital Empire is saying I owe 20% of that bill which is a little under $200. Did anyone else have to pay this?

i had this done about 2 yrs ago and paid nothing oop w/ghi/empire bcbs

i think someone else asked this same question. I know that the billing is horrible for NSUH so check to see if they are not covering for the Radiologist read fee. If thats so they should bill a GHI participating MD. Otherwise you may want to check what type of GHI coverage you have.
