:( my doctor asked me if I gained weight
ok- my plastic surgeon
but I feel like I lost weight since my surgery 3 months ago
I have been watching what I eat and working out- I am down a size in jeans
now it's messing with my head
maybe he just wants me to get lipo???????
I was feeling good this morning about my weight- and now- not so much

look at me- never weighed
I think I am in better shape then I was 3 months ago- I am working out 4 -5 days a week
oh well....I can't let it get to me....he is putting me on the website b/c my result was perfect- so I couldn't look that bad ;)

Maybe he thought you were a different patient. I couldn't imagine a doctor saying that to a thin person standing there in front of them...bizarre.

thanks...I increased my speed on the treadmill like you suggested- I am up to 5.3 and 6.3 - buring 400 calories in 47 minutes - and feeling great
I am taking a hard core total body class once a week
maybe he had me confused with my friend who went there too- she looks like me- but skinner - not by much a 2 to my 4??????

I really think that's it...even though you are not much different in weight...he was probably trying to figure out what was different, thinking you were someone else.
That's awesome about the interval running. If you want more ideas for switching the intervals up to rev up your heart rate let me know. I have been trying all these different intervals and fartlek runs that have kept me from getting bored and blast calories!

I would think it's because they sometimes feed off of the idea of making you want to fix the next thing. I'd think he was after my wallet.
I will never forget a True Life doc on MTV where the two best friends were going to nose and boob jobs and one girl was planning on getting lipo.
Her other friend wasn't going to get lipo, just her nose & boobs.
The doctor evaluated her and then said, "What if we do just a little lipo around your tummy area, too?" She hesitated and asked, "Doc, do you think I'm fat?" and he hesitated and said no, he just thought she'd want a little more improvement.
She ended up getting it done, when it looked like she didn't need it.
Of course, you know your doctor and trust him, so only you'd know.
But that would be my first thought.
But i'm sure you look fantastic

Thanks! I am very happy with the results! And I am almost happy with my weight...I need to drop 5lbs...1 more inch off my waist and hips would be perfect!
But I think you are correct...I think he is planting the seed for me to want something else done...my boyfriend thinks so too....
Or he could have me confused with someone else

I'm thinking that he might have meant it as a complement. You do not really know if his ideal is is for everyone to be thin. Also, just by looking stronger than you did right after surgery, you are going to look different to him.
