Opinion please
I have my first sono tomorrow and the office just called and said the doctor isnt gonna be there
only the nurse practitioner will be there so I kept the appt because DH really wants to be there for the first sono
Does it matter if the NP does it or should I reschedule?

You are going to Dr. Hanauer right? I would go anyway. It will either be Kerry or Daniella and they are both fantastic. Very very nice and educated just as much. I know Kerry has delivered many babies, so I'd go see her! Good luck!

I'd go. My doctor never does my sonos, a separate tech in the office does. Then my NEXT appt., the doctor tells me what they saw on the sono.

Kerry is wonderful. She does the biophysical profile and she checked me out for my 6 week postpartum visit. I feel very comfortable with her.

i dont go to your doc. but in my obgyn office, the nurse practioner is excellant. so i would keep the appt. have fun, good luck

Yeah my doctor never does them either they are done by a separate tech as well. My doctor comes in the room eventually to take a look but the tech does the sonogram.
