best cheap products?

Probably has been done before, but still fun!

Vo5 shampoo is awesome! 99 cents a bottle and makes my hair so smooth and shiny!

Re: best cheap products?

I agree with St. Ives and vasaline! It's a mulipurpose tool! Dry skin, lips, hands, eye makeup remover and so on.

I make my own "toner" I have VERY oily skin so I put cotton pads into a tupperware adn pour rubbing alcohol over them to saturate and that's what I use. My skin has NEVER looked better and saved me from horrible acne when pregnant! Cost for 1-2 months about $3Chat Icon

Brown sugar mixed with olive oil and a few drops of essential oil (I use lavendar) makes an EXCELLENT exfolliant!

Ditto on the vaseline. Also for the eye area I will use the little tubes of eye lubricant that only have mineral oil and petroleum jelly in them. They're in the optical aisle at drugs stores but I swear they have kept my eye area looking fairly young.

Garnier Fructis hair products. I've used the shampoo, conditioner, spray gel, etc... all make my hair look and feel wonderful. They're not expensive to begin with, and there are always coupons out there for them.

Burts bees replenishing lip balm-it's tinted and actually will look like lipstick if you apply heavily or just a touch of color if you apply lightly

Also, Maybelline Lash Stylist mascara.
It has the best wand, it's a super thin tiny comb and gets every ounce of eyelash. It's amazing and there's no other mascara brush like it.

Re: best cheap products?

Vaseline is the bomb. Best eye makeup remover ever.

Dove beauty bar soap. Not too drying.

I LOVE Neutrogena Bath oil - the sesame formula - it's like $10 or so for a bottle.... so it doesn't really belong on the cheap products thread (but to some people they might consider this cheap). But it's awesome - smells delicious and my skin stays soft allllll day. I towel dry lightly, rub it in. Not greasy like baby oil.

NYX single shadows are the best cheap eyeshadows you can buy - also the victorias secret outlets sells their beauty product really really cheap...

Re: best cheap products?

I use J&J baby oil to remove eye makeup, and my favorite transclucent powder is NYC Smooth Skin, it's about $3 and lasts a long time! Plus it's pretty much the only powder that doesn't turn orange on my skin.
