pet fountains
Anyone have them? Stubby loves drinking out of the faucet and now is raiding our glasses to drink out of them. She hates her water bowl and rather drink fresh water.
Oh and we are on the hunt at some shelters for a kitten/cat. We know she misses the social interaction since she meows at the window only when she sees other cats outside. If we get her a partner she might stay indoors (which we really want)!

sometimes I swear they clean their paws in the water fountain

I have the Drinkwell Platinum fountain, both my cats LOVE it!!! It's a bit of a pain in the butt to clean but I think it's worth it, I've noticed they drink a lot more water now than they used to.

Re: pet fountains
we had one for our cat who would only drink from the faucet ... it last maybe 2-3 months. Honestly, even with changing the water and the filter constantly running, it looked dirty to me. I couldnt let her drink from it. She loves drinking right from the sink so we just let her after our showers in the morning.
The feeder for dry food, on the other hand, is a god send
