Need bakery recommendation (south shore)
I am going to be in NY for DD 2nd Birthday.
I am thinking I want the cake to be Elmo (since she LOOOOOOOVES him!)
Can you recommend any places west of Lindenhurst.
I know Black Forest,any other recs for great cakes!

My favorite bakery is A & G on Deer Park Ave in North Babylon. I have ordered many cakes from them, LOVE them!

Dortoni in Levittown is FABULOUS -
Erga is Bethpage is also very good

The Cake Gallery in N bellmore on Jerusalem Ave is excellent. the owner/baker used to bake for Riester's .
DO NOT GO to "A taste of Home", they sold me 2 moldy cakes on 2 separate incidents. Talk about embarassing, I am glad it was for not a major event, and it was with my family!!!

I second the Cake Gallery. I got DD's baptism cake there and it was beautiful and delish!!!!
