Opks? *Update!*
This month I decided not to temp because I didn't want to be neurotic with my charts. I decided to use a different method that someone here posted where you use opk's everyday from day 10 forward. I never got a solid line, dark enough for the opk to be positive. This past week they got darker and now they're really light again. FF projected my O date as today based on the past 2 months.
I'm getting to the question...has anyone ever used opk's and not had a positive?
I guess I'll know when I get AF what day I ovulated by my luteal phase.
EDA: Update! So the past few days I noticed EWCM which I thought was strange since I o'd a while ago, I thought... For the heck of it I POAS (OPK) and it came out clear and positive as anything! So now I am more confused. Earlier in the month I had EWCM exactly the right dates but no positive opk. Now I got it again with a positive opk? What the heck? Usually I O at the same time each month. I'm so confused.

Re: Opks?
I used an OPK with my son and it never said I ovulated. I ended up pregnant. So much for not ovulating.
I think they may not work for some people.
No worries!

Re: Opks?
Thanks! I have PCOS and I know that makes levels wonky sometimes. I've got a clear positive last month but who knows?

Re: Opks?
That's why I like digitals. They're more expensive, but I don't obsess over lines.

dont worry just get busy!!
Lol actually I had a similar situation on the only cycle that I did O in recent memory. I had actually stopped using OPKs cause I thought I did O, but then I got undeniable EWCM so I used on OPK and sure enough a blaring positive on CD30 that did result in a temp shift and confirmed O. what CD are you on??

That's EXACTLY what happened to me! Since I've been tracking, I always O on Cycle Day 14. Today is CD 20. Luckily we BD'd on CD 18 & 19, not cause we were trying but cause we were drinking lol. It's too weird because I had totally dismissed this month and thought the opk's didn't pick it up all the way since I had very faint lines last week.
