Re: dog ingested aquaphor

The aquaphor should say if its toxic or dangerous to ingest.

I'm not sure if its toxic, but you can call emergency poison control for animals if you need to. The number is (888) 426-4435, which I got off the ASPCA website. It says a $65 charge may be applied. However, I know that when I thought my pup ingested an antibiotic, I called, and it was free. so I'm not sure what they charge for. It might be free for you too.

I hope your dog is ok Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: dog ingested aquaphor

I would call regular poison control, then see what they say and then call animal poison control if you need to (but they will charge you for hte call). So call regular poison call asap!!

Re: dog ingested aquaphor

Your dog will probably just have a very smooth movement (only half joking about that). I would hope that aquaphor is safe because there are not a ton of ingredients but seriously, I would call poison control or go to an e-vet just in case.

My experience with calling then is they tell you EXACTLY what you can find on the internet. And I was charged each time I've called ...

They did charge me also. What I find is better is I call any emergency vet and ask them over the phone, and they usually will tell you what you need to know.
