My dream came true!!
I never thought I would see the day but my first baby Lola has finally come around and is in love with my DD.. it took 6 1/2 months but with alot of patience and interaction they are now just starting to love each other.. I never thought this would ever happen.. So to all of my pets board people with dogs and children on the way .. I am here to tell you that this can really happen..

What a  picture!!! I told you it can and will happen in time. Sweet Lola!!!! That's b/c YOU did a great job giving your doggie what she needed in this tough time of adjustment. Great job!!!
My female dog also loves my DD. She has recently laid on her lap too, and wants to lay with her on her blanket.......my male dog still wants to chomp on her (in good fun though)....so we have a way to go with him.
I am so happy to see this!!!

Diana, that's wonderful!! When I saw the picture I actually said "aww!" out loud.  I'm proud of you, that you sought out how to help and had patience, letting it happen in it's own time. Good for you and for your family!!

That is so sweet and inspiring too. I am not pregnant but my Chihuahua is very jealous and has growled at babies when I hold them. I am terrified that when we do have a baby, he will not come around. I could NEVER get rid of him.
