never going to cheesecake factory again
last night we took my MIL out to the Cheesecake Factory for her birthday.
the server forgot to put in the appitizer order...ok, no big deal
then my steak, was not cooked. I don't mean it was rare...I mean it wasn't cooked
then my DH gave me some of his food to eat...and I found a roach in it
our whole meal was comped...but still, not going back there
I know that most restuarants have bugs...but serving them with the dinner not the norm....ewwwwww!!!!!

Ugh that is nasty!!!!
If you don't mind me asking, which one was it?
I would have gotten sick at the table if I ever found a roach in my food.....ewww just thinking about it.

I was at the Lake Grove location
the manager was very apologetic and i think even embarrassed...but i still will not be going back

I'm not a fan in general.. the descriptions of the food always seem to sound way better than the actual food tastes.
I'm so avoiding them in the future.

WOw thanks for posting that. We try to stay away from there-imo it is so expensive for what you get. I'd rather go to Fridays and pay less!

We live in NJ and just went there last night b/c we got a gift card.......we still dont see the hype. Food is just okay but definitely not worth the 1hr-1 1/2 wait.

I don't think it's worth the wait either. Everytime I've eaten there I've had to run for the toilet moments after finishing my meal (sorry about the TMI).
It's a small step above Mickey D's IMO. All processed crap.
I'd rather get cheesecake too from a good local bakery.
