We didn't get our house
I am so upset I can barely type but someone way outbid us in this market. It makes no sense- no offers and the day we counter with a higher one(the very most we could) someone came in with one for 11,000 more.
I am just devestated and so fed up with the whole process. We have a month to get out of our condo so I think we will just rent for a while.

I'm so sorry. It is so incredibly stressful and CA is still such an expensive market. I really hope you get lucky and something is right around the corner... when you least expect it

I just went through the same thing. house hunting is emotionally draining. Hang in there and dont give up, something will come your way. There is a reason why you didnt get that house, it all happens for a reason.

You guys are the best sympathy party ever! Thank you so much for your kind words- I just feel like you did when you got dumped by a guy you like- thats the only way to explain it.
I remember thinking the same thing when we were looking- you are always on edge, waiting for a phone call, and worrying about rejection.
ETA- I do have to say, though, that avatar is much nicer than the one with the house!
