Did you BD before/after you did IUI?
I am scheduled for my first IUI this coming Sunday. I was on Clomid last week and will do the Ovidrel injection on Friday night.
My question is, should we BD regularly beforehand? Or should DH be "storing up" for the IUI collection?
My RE is totally useless with information (if this cycle doesn't work, I'll be switching docs!) so any info you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were not allowed to BD after CD11, assuming I would O CD14. I ended up getting my IUI on CD16, then we BD'd that night and the following 2 nights, and I got my BFP! Good luck to you!

My RE said at least 48 hours of no BDing before the IUI, but we usually did 3 days before since the little guys can live up to 3 days. Definitely BD after!

I would BD thursday night or friday morning and then store up until the sample is given on sunday morning. then BD as much as you can afterwards!!!

We did two days before and then after a bunch of times. DH is convinced that it wasn't the IUI but all the BDing after that got us pregnant

Basically once you get your LH surge or trigger shot, no BD until after the IUI.

This was us too. They told us abstain 2 days before and to go home after the IUI and BD as to up the chances.

Round #1 of IUI we didn't after, Round #2 we BD the night of day #2 and the following morning, and two weeks later BFP w/ twins, we really believed it helped, my dr said that it couldn'hurt. I agree!! Good Luck!

Abstain for 2-4 days prior to IUI (4 days preferred). This gives the best numbers and best quality.
BD freely after.
