What to do?

HELP !! I am so upset. I took Sara to the doctor today for a follow up to a bad belly. SHe is now on Nutramagin so her belly is better Chat Icon Well While I was there the doctor told me her head is getting really flat . I bought the NOggin Nest last week and use it in her swing and bouncy seat however he said she has to be on her belly at all waking times Chat Icon . She cries so much when she is on her belly. I am so scared that her flat head will not go away or it will cause brain damage.Chat Icon

Re: What to do?

There are a lot of moms on here dealing with flat heads. Do a search for the posts? They're a great source of information!!

Kevin has a flat head and also hated being on his belly. Getting him to do tummy time was a fight every time.

Once he started sitting up on his own and rolling over his hed is starting to round out.

I'm sure your daughter's head will round out once she starts being on her belly more! Chat Icon

Could you also wear her in a carrier like a baby bjorn? That would keep her head off of a flat surface.

You are going to take good care of her, and caught this early. She'll be fine. Worst case, she'll have to wear a helmet for a bit.

Re: What to do?

the carrier is a great idea. tummy time can be hard I know, but it is better than the flat head issues. Hugs to you.....
