Beta results and twins?
So whats the deal with the beta test results? Does a certain number indicate twins? Just trying to prepare myself for my scheduled Beta on Wednesday!! I want twins sooo bad but would definately be happy one a singleton miracle!!!

not really...
there are people who have low betas and are PG with twins, and people with very high betas that aren't pregnant with multiples.
my beta was 143 on 8dp5dt - which I didn't think was very high, and I was pregnant with twins...

I know that it varies per pregnancy. I read online that the average beta for a single birth is 45 and for twins, it's 63. However, the study on twin pregnancies had a significantly smaller number of participants than the single study.
I'm kind of hoping for twins too.... When can you find out how many you are carrying? I just had my 2nd beta yesterday and it was 104.

I'm kind of hoping for twins too.... When can you find out how many you are carrying? I just had my 2nd beta yesterday and it was 104.
i found out i was having twins at exactly 5 weeks.. they saw 2 sacs..
my beta at 10dp3dt (13dpo) was 356
you never know!! like others said.. beta's can still be on the lower side and still are PG with twins!!

My 1st beta was 11dp3dt and it was 142. I was pg with twins but lost one at 7 weeks.

my first beta was at 12dp5dt & my beta was 822 with twins....Then my second beta was 7 days later & it was 5319
