We waited, too. My son was almost 27 pounds and 32 1/2 inches @ 12 months. We turned the seat around about 2 weeks after his 1st birthday. We'll wait w/ #2 as well.

Yes my Daughter was 11 months and met the height and weight requirements and she was scrunched up cuz her legs were long and she would whine and cry when she was faced backwards cuz she was uncomfortable once I faced her forward she was the happiest baby

Jesse turned one last week and we still have the seat facing rear. At his doctor's visit today, we found out he meets the height and weight requirements, but we won't turn him around for awhile. It's much safer this way. And I'm waiting for my new carseat to come in!

Though I'm 100% positive that Christopher would be happier facing forwards, I'm definitely waiting until he's a year old. In fact, though he's tall, I'm not even sure he'll reach the weight requirement by then. He's a skinny little guy.

I turned him around at 9 months...but I never go anywhere!!! I might go to my mother's house, which is two minutes away. I mostly walk everywhere with Jared.
