Petie (happy update)
Petie is my buddy at Last Hope Shelter in Lindenhurst. He is waiting for someone to be his forever pal. I've brought him home to visit a few times and he is SUCH a sweetie. He loves a good scratch on his back and a rub of the neck. He also LOVES riding in the car (he actually smiled when he hopped in my front seat after... I put out several blankets in the back for him).
If you know anyone that would like to take him home for Christmas, please call the numbers on the poster.

It is with great pleasure I say that Petie is on the pending adoption list.
A couple that had to put down their pit last year has put in an application to adopt Petie. If all goes well, he will be off to his new home Friday!!!
I so hope he is a good fit for the people and that they don't return him (I've unfortunately seen this in the past with other dogs).
