Tenant and Bills
The house that we are buying has an apartment in the basement. We are debating whether or not we will rent it out or not. (A lot of factors here.) Anyway, the point of my post:
For those of you that have apartments that you rent out with all utilities INCLUDED, have you found that it drastically changes your actual bills? I realize that everyone's responses may be quite different. I guess I would just want to make sure that it was actually worth it if we decided to rent it out.

I was worried about this also because our tenants have their own washer/dryer down there. It really has not affected our bills dramatically at all. I would def. recommend it. We are going to keep the apartment for a few years just as some added income and then we will take over the basement when we need it in the future.

My mom would charge extra in the summer time for AC.

I pay $25 extra per month per air conditioner in the summer months.
