What can I expect?
Okay, so now that I have the fertilization report, I am supposed to call today to find out how my embies are doing and if they are leaning towards a 3 or 5 day transfer. What information should I ask? What information can they give me? Someone told me that they grade the embies. Should I ask for specifics? I find they usually keep the information kind of vague. Any help would be much appreciated!

I really didn't ask any questions. I just told them that bc my insurance was only paying for IVF 1X, I needed as many embies as possible to freeze. They told me there is a better chance of freezing them w/ a day 3 transfer so we decided to do that as long as the embies were growing.

It seems we are on similiar schedules (just a few days apart). I just called my RE's office to get how many made it to day 5 (which was yesterday) and how many are strong enough to freeze. I also plan to ask about the quality, but I doubt the nurse will know that.
When you go for your transfer, the RE will be able to give you details, and even a picture of the cells!

they will just tell you how many you have and if you'll be having the transfer that day or day 5. If you want more specifics, you will have to ask for a doctor- the nurses don't have the info.

I didn't want too much info from mine - otherwise I drive myself crazy!! 
They just called and told me that I'd be doing a day 5 transfer and told me how many embryos I had so far.
