Any mommies-to-be get...
melasma (the mask of pregnancy) on their face? It's dark pigmentation that comes out around your eyes. I got this when I was preggo with Jared and I just wanted to know if anyone is experiencing it?
It seems like I was the only one, while I was pregnant...

My friend got it and it took a while to totally go away. She just had her daughter and it wasn't as bad as with her son.

I got it and felt the same way!!
It has finallly gone away.

i had it BEFORE i was pregnant when i was on the pill. it was a combination of the hormones from the pill & being out in the sun. i actually used bleaching cream to lessen it. now i religiously wear moisturizer with sunblock because i just know it will be a problem this summer with the pregnancy.

No, I had it too...two small nickel sized patches on my cheeks. I've been sitting in the sun again lately and THANKFULLY they haven't returned!!!

I still have it now and I'm using Tri-Luma to get rid of it. My dermatologist says I'm going to have it forever and to stay out of the sun. That's going to be pretty hard to do when I'm on my cruise this October...

What bleaching cream did you use?
Vitamin K will lessen the pigmentation.
I've used Vita K - You can find it Brooks, CVS, Duane Reade, Eckerd, Rite Aid, & Walgreen's

Hey stefanie... I have to say I was preggo and micarried...not to long ago however on Fri I had to get make up done for a party and the women asked me were you just pregnant or just had a baby I looked wierdly at her she said I have these brown pigment spots above my eye and on the sides ...

LOL BAsically that is what she said and it does get worse with the sun ... I know because I have been tanning and OMG Now I can see it

my cream was a prescription from the dermatologist. sorry, i don't recall the name. he actually showed me my face under a blacklight and i could see all the damage from the melasma. it was freaky. now i'm not taking any chances!
