* I need a sitter for my 3lb chihuahua!

I am writing because I am in a pickle and I thought someone would know of an in home pet sitting service. We are leaving for a vacation the day after Christmas and I have to make arrangements for my puppy. I really think boarding Lola with many dogs would just be too much for her. She is not scared by any means but I just do not feel right about it (although a great option for many dogs). Originally we made arrangements with my parents but I am starting to second guess this. They watched her this weekend and I just feel like they are really busy and Lola does not get the affection she needs. I know I am so pathetic. I feel guilty leaving her with them because she likes to be held, and pet, and give a zillion kisses and they just may not be able to give her that. A friend of mine recommended a dog sitter who would charge us $100 for the week but this person is in Queens and I am looking for someone on Long Island. We are in Bellmore. I wouldn’t really be able to afford more than $100 bucks so if I cannot find anything else I will do this. Lola (as you can tell from photos) is a 3lb Chihuahua (9 months) who is the biggest mush and very spunky. We just adore her and I bet anyone would love having her around. Anyway, the dates would be December 26th-January 3rd. If this is something you or someone you know may consider, I can bring her over so you can meet her and everything.

aww I totally know how you feel about worrying if your parents had time..I am home all day w/ my dog and would feel bad. I wish I could help...but I"m away for Christmas so I won't be able to help. I hope you find someone. Your little one is cute!
