How do you know if your baby is ok?
I mean in between the sonograms...4 weeks is like a lifetime for me and if you are not spotting do you just assume its all okay? I have such bad M/S that I dont know what to think.

m/s is a good sign. I was a nervous wreck, then I went for my 10.5 week sono and my dr. said I could stop worrying. he said that if everything looks ok at your 10 week sono, you have a very good chance of having a healthy pregnancy and baby.

I think the 4 weeks in between appts is the hardest part of pregnancy - I always wondered the same thing. I just assumed everything was alright, alot of people rented dopplers to hear the heartbeat. We did not go that route, but it worked for others

The only thing about a doppler, IMHO, is that you can't hear the heartbeat until about 12 weeks (according to multiple websites), so at that point, the critical point is over. But, it must be nice to hear the heartbeat whenever you want.

Re: How do you know if your baby is ok?
I was wondering the same thing, especially because I have minimal symptoms. I'm not tired, don't have sore boobs and I'm only queasy every now and then. Sometimes I really wonder if I'm still preggo!
eta: I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and I go for my first tri ultrascreen next monday. I hope everything is fine with that and then I'll just have to assume everything is ok as long as I'm not bleeding.

Re: How do you know if your baby is ok?
I know what you mean, I was so used to having sonos done evry week at my RE 's office. Then I went 2 weeks, then 3, and this past one was 1 month, I was so sad and so worried. Im sure everything is just fine
