Disability Payments
how many weeks do they pay you? is it 6 weeks for regular birth and 8 weeks for a c-section? and how much do they pay you?
Are disability and unemployment benefits different. Because I thought you got 26 weeks for unemployment. I thought it was all the same thing.

mine is 6 weeks for VB 8 weeks for csection. They'll pay me 60% of my gross.

i think it may depend how your company sets it up, not sure...
i thought everything was standard, but get confused as far as the amounts go. i think it's X% of your salary capped at a certain amount (like unemployment) 6 weeks post vaginal delivery, 8 for c-section...

My disability was what my company's policy was through the State. I was paid $170 for 8 weeks (I had a c/s) and they took taxes out of it. I got one check for the whole amount.

I get 8 weeks for c-section and state disability is a max of $170 no matter how high your salary is. I will be getting a check every week.

only if it was due to a lay off...
You have to be PHYSICALLY able to return to work before you can file for unemployment and that's only if you lost your job.
