A plea for help [graphic images]

If you have a few dollars, could you consider helping out with these poor dog's vet bills? Anything, even if you think it is too small, is a wonderful gift. I was horrified just now, seeing these pictures, and I can't stop crying. Rusty and I made a donation through the button, it's PayPal and you don't need an account.

The website randomly loads two different cases each time you go there, so if you go to the link and don't see Cain and Sampson, click refresh.

Labs4Rescue is a valid, respected rescue and I know two people who work for them, they are legit.

Here they are.

"Sampson (black) and Cain (yellow) were recently confiscated from an unethical "rescue" group. There was no evidence that any medical attention or food was given to these two labradors. Needless to say, the unethical "rescue" group is being investigated by the authorities and we are pushing hard to make sure that whatever consequences and protection for future animals that the state and county animal welfare laws can provide, are levied against this unethical "rescue" group.

Cain and Sampson are now safe in loving foster homes and have been seen by veterinarians. Both boys are 4-5 year old and they suffer from extreme malnutrition. Additionally, Sampson is heartworm positive and both dogs have sarcoptic mange. The mange is easily treated and will be fixed, the heartworms will be treated (and fixed) once Sampson has gained normal health and weight, and the malnutrition is being slowly and systematically mended. What does not need to be fixed is both boys' spirits.

Even in their current condition, both Sampson and Cain show the traits that people prize so highly in Labradors: very loving to everyone and completely forgiving of transgressions made against them. Sampson and Cain are why we do rescue and why we know blessings abound when these dogs find their forever families. Love like these labs have should be rejoiced and shared."

What a travesty. How horrific really. I am sick.

If I wanted to go to paypayl directly, without using the link, do you know how i can do that?

Re: A plea for help [graphic images]

There's an option during the process to login and use your PayPal account instead of using a credit card. Is that what you mean?

edited to add:

The name of the recipient should be LABS4RESCUE.

I just got a response from Ann, the coordinator. She says:

Thank you so much for your generosity. It is hard to believe that people would allow something of this magnitude to happen. The girls are feeding both Sampson and Cain 4-6 times a day small amounts of food so their stomachs can begin to handle having food in them vs throwing everything up. They are starting to gain weight now which is a very good thing, and we will update the site as well to keep wonderful people like yourselves abreast of the situation.

thank you again for caring about these boys!

Ann

Their email address for PayPal donations is [email protected]. When you choose Send Money in PayPal, all you should need is that email address.

Goobster, I truly appreciate you taking the time and caring to do this. Thank you. Chat Icon

Done. I made a donation, I went to paypal on my own and typed in the address as email to....and they came up as verified. It was easy and I hope my donation helps. I am so tired of seeing suffering animals.Chat Icon
