i hate it, let me just say lol i had it fairly bad when i was a teenager & then when i hit 20/21, it went away

then around 23/24 it came back!! not as bad, but bad enough for me to be really annoyed lol

the ONLY thing that has worked for me is Proactiv... so i basically stick to that -- however, i still get random breakouts (usually the week leading up to AF)

i was wondering if there was a home remedy that someone has tried to help clear up acne.... i heard that an oatmeal & honey mask works well

I had a bad pimple last week and put some Cortizone cream on it when I went to sleep. It was gone after 2 or 3 nights. Maybe that will help?

I get really bad acne as well. I just started using the Burts Bees Acne line and really like it. The Proactive never did anything for me.

Cortizone cream (1%) was and still is a big help for me, as is Ibuprofen to help with inflammation.

I tried the ProActive system and didn't like it. The only thing that truly helped me was Accutane (and I did 4 treatments).

I go to the dermatologist and use Evoclin and Fenacia. It has done WONDERS for my skin!!! I never have a breakout anymore.

You really should go to a Dermo for your skin. There's no reason you should even have one pimple - with the technology these days, there is so much available.

I have a great one in Smithtown - Dr. Donna Serure.

DH recently went there and wears a cream at night. His hair gel was making his skin react so he went right away and got it taken care of. Now, he spot treats with that medication and his skin is flawless. HTH.
