Does anyone have an ipod shuffle?
How do you like it? My ipod died 3/4 of the way through my run this morning. I think it just can't keep a charge for very long anymore. I had an old ipod mini. I am just concerned about the fact that there is no screen.

I have the original shuffle...my DH bought it for me just for running...i love it and only load songs i like running to so i don't have to skip thru anything

I have it and love it. So small and clips right on your shirt and perfect for working out. Like the other posters it only has my workout music on so no need to search, etc. The newer one is even smaller.

I have the newest Ipod shuffle, the one that looks like a memory stick. I really like it and only use it for my running music. You can listen to a playlist in order or put it on shuffle mode. The only problem so far are with the headphones. I'm on my third pair (which I haven't paid for, they gave them to me at the Apple store). The controls stopped working after a while and I couldn't control the volume, or the voice would come on and start saying the name of the artist and song (very annoying!) But so far this third pair is working fine. I'm sure they'll perfect them soon. I love running with it, so I definitely recommend it.

Oh, I hate earbuds anyways. I have the headphones that clip around my ears. You can use your own headphones with the new shuffle, right?

I just checked the ones we have at work and it looks like you have to use the earbuds with the new shuffle. Either the volume control or forward/reverse song control is on them. I use the wrap around ear ones too. I hate the ear buds! Shuffle don't break!

I have the newest shuffle in black
I have the 4GB which holds up to 1000 songs. Perfect for what I use it for - the gym & my commute to work. It cost me $79.
I believe that you need to use the headphones that come with this particular shuffle because the controls are on it.
ETA: I actually prefer that there is no screen on this - it doesn't distract me when I am working out. The ear phones "talk" to you & tell you what song & artist is playing when you hold the middle section down.
