Meals that Freeze well
My sister had a preemie monday and I want to make her some meals and freeze them so she has them ready to go. I've never been a freezer person so any idea/recipes will help.

Re: Meals that Freeze well
I'd suggest..
baked ziti lasagna soups we keep bagels in the freezer if we ever run out of things and just make a sandwich or something what about keeping some frozen apps or veggies. We buy those steam veggies. Keep them in the freezer then when you want veggies throw the whole bag in the microwave for 5 mins and you have good, steam veggies.
That's all I can think of for now

Re: Meals that Freeze well
Split Pea soup - it actually tastes better after spending some time in the freezer
Tomato Sauce with meatballs - all she'd have to do it boil some pasta
Marinated uncooked chicken - takes 10 minutes to take out of the package and grill in a pan
Check out Trader Joe's freezer section, they have a ton of options - from chicken to burritos to rice to grilled marinated eggplant and zucchini (which is delish btw) They also have chicken burgers and sausage with different seasonings.

Aside from everything mentioned, meatballs in sauce freeze well.
