FSH and wheatgrass
so i have heard wheatgrass lowers your FSH levels - does anyone know where i can get fresh wheatgrass shots near Manhasset? does wholefoods sell them?

Yes it does and yes wholefoods sells them. But, you can also use it in powder form. Its kinda gross so I used to mix it with organic apple juice. Some ppl do not like the fresh shot of WG but I always liked it. But, sometimes it did stay with me all day. Chase it with a slice of orange. Sometimes they give it to you. If you have a Jamba Juice nearby they have it too. It also comes in pill form, but the dosage is ridiculous and found it easier to do the powder. There is a product in the frozen section that says wheat grass, and I still have them in my freezer. But, when I read the ingredients closely I discovered it is not actually wheat grass. Though I need to just finish it off because its taking up space...lol.
While you are at it you might as well get Fish Oil supplements. Good for egg quality, they say. Nordic Naturals brand (think that is right) is the best brand on the market. Make sure its pharmaceutical grade. Though many pre-natals now have the DHA that is the item in fish oil. I know my new one has this supplement.

i took the pills.. they had them at the vitamin shoppe.. my RE said they were fine.

did you have a high FSH levels? did the wheatgrass work?
maybe i will stick with the pills bc it seems hard to find fresh wheatgrass!

and, i am going to see if there is a Jamba juice near me. i know there is a wholefoods near me so that's good

I got frozen wheatgrass shots from whole foods. I did the shots for almost a year along with other supplements and unfortunately did nothing to lower my high FSH Hopefully it will work for you.

It did lower my FSH. I had once a 14 and after doing WG it was never ever high again. And some ppl worry that it increases the E2, but mine was never high either.
Of course now I have stopped, I am sure its high again. But, we are no longer TTC with my eggs so it doesn't matter.
But no, it didn't help me get pg. But, it could help you. You at least should try. You never know.
I believe that the supplements I took gave me the best chance. And if I didn't do it, I would have always wondered if it would have made a difference. Its not going to hurt you. It can only make you healthier. WG in general is very good for you.

oh really? so you took the pills and the pills lowered your FSH? if you dont mind me asking, how high was your fsh? and how much was it lowered? did you take pills every day?
thanks SO MUCH for your help, i am so nervous about my fsh and hope it doesn't hurt my chances of getting pg!

you're right - i dont ever want to look back and wonder if i could have done more
