Losing weight after pregnancy...
I gained 43 pounds w/ my 2nd DD. I started off really small (I am only 5'2) - I have lost abt 26 lbs (12 wks PP), but I am now STUCK. I started running 4x a week a few weeks ago (2-2.5 miles per day)... and still NOTHING. Anyone experience a temporary hault in losing after pregnancy? I am wondering if I am expecting too much of my body!
TIA

Re: Losing weight after pregnancy...
First of all, congratulations on the birth of your DD!!! I gained 50 pounds when I was pregnant and like you, 30 came off quickly and then I stalled big time with losing the final 20. While I was working out, I just wasn't losing any weight so I assumed it was the way I was eating. I joined Weight Watchers, kept up with work outs, and lost the weight (and then some) in about 3 months.

Re: Losing weight after pregnancy...
I gained 66 and 56 pounds in my pregnancies. I lost all but 5 pounds both times by BFing (not sure what you are doing)
Once I stopped, I gained about 5-10 pounds - I had to curb my eating. I wasn't so good during pregnancy and BFing.
Running will definitely help, but don't fall into the "I ran today, I can eat a little extra"
500 less calories a day = 1 pound. add 15-17 miles a week = an extra .5 pound
