I have a question for a Friend.....
My friend's baby has really bad gas- could somone reccomend a brand a formula that might help?
Thanks, she doenst have a computer right now so I thought I would try the ladies here since you are all so helpful.

I'm not up on the new formulas but wanted to give you another idea.
She want to try feeding her baby in a more upright position (almost a 90 degree angle). While we generally feed babies in a 45 degree angle, it's not good for letting gas escape (think along the lines of if you were drinking something as you were laying back).

Try maybe Simolac Isomil, may aleviate some of the gas

We're doing well with Enfamil Gentlease.
I'm sure you'll get a lot of different answers. She really has to try and see for herself. Every baby is different.

is she sure its the formula giving the lil one gas, sometimes its just the type of bottle that can cause painful gas. i was just about to switch my dds formula until someone recommened dr,browns bottles. and they were the most fantastic things ever!!! if it really is the formula im not sure which formula is best, but i belive ones low in iron cause a little less gas.
