PGD PSA
I just wanted to let everyone know that everyone told me that I would not get any coverage for my out-of-pocket expenses for the PGD I did on my first IVF cycle. There was no medical reason at the time for doing it; I thought I was being extra careful (though I later realized I shouldn't have done it). Anyway, my insurance company has reimbursed me over $2200 for my expenses. I believe it cost $5500. This is with Empire BCBS PPO. It should be noted that the company initially told me I would not be covered, but I submitted it anyway.
Hope this helps someone!

That's great news for you! $2200 is a heck of a lot better than nothing!

Re: PGD PSA
I have the exact company and was shocked when I got reimbursed too. I got somewhere over $3,000 back. I almost didn't submit it because I was told it is almost never covered. Glad you got reimbursed!
